Floors:

Steam Mop-  We have tried every mop solution & even tried using simple green on our floors.  Nothing completely cleaned the lotions off the floor & it was slippery & dangerous.  We've found that a steam mop helps melt the lotions, making it easier for the mop to get them up.  I like that it doesn't leave a chemical residue.  It also sanitizes.  No more mop solution to buy either!

Clothing/linens:

Washing Machine-  I highly suggest a front load washer that has a sanitize feature.  The sanitize feature heats the water to melt lotions & kill germs.

Soaps-  We all need a free & clear detergent, not just Ethan.  We've found that Costco's Kirkland HE Free & Clear works very well.  If we get puralube eye ointment on clothing, using simple green or dawn may get rid of the stain (nothing else works).

Bath toys:

Since many kids with ich spend a great deal of time in the tub, you might have lots of tub toys too.  We place bath toys in a bleach solution at least once a week.  Pay careful attention to toys that can hold water (especially squirter type toys).
